PARTNER EVENT: Youth Discussion on 13th- A Netflix Documentary. Mon, Jan 9th 6-7:30pm at the Steve Milton Community Room in Deep River, CT

Check out this event for youth in the Lower Connecticut River Valley that will discuss 13th, the Netflix documentary by Ava DuVernay. The movie explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation’s prisons are disproportionately and intentionally filled with African-Americans.
This event is specifically for people between the ages of 15 an 25 and will be facilitated by trained moderators from Allies for Social Justice. Please join us or share with anyone you think would be interested.
